Official still via Nintendo of America. The test includes eight Kin; official pages do not publish a complete named roster.

Those who enter an agreement with the Order of Dusk are known as Kin. Kin compact with Bloodsworn and lend their power in battle.

How summoning works

Compacts form at summoning circles. The guide says you find them at the base of the chains of light that stretch into the sky. There are three circle types: Ring, Blade, and Eye. Each type offers a different set of Kin. In the House of Night’s courtyard you can compact with any Kin for practice, which is the safe way to learn what each one does before a live match.

You summon and dismiss Kin from the function menu. When a Kin dies, it is dismissed automatically and cannot be summoned back for a period of time. While dismissed, or while out of combat, its HP recovers gradually. You cannot dismiss a Kin while it is being attacked.

The eight Kin in the test

The Network Test contains eight Kin. The official guide describes what some of them are like, but it does not publish a complete name list: a young swordswoman of a clandestine society, a sorcerer who has mastered flame, a prisoner who can protect allies by singing, and a black wolf who lords over a forest. Each Kin supports Bloodsworn battles with its own abilities. This archive will not pull names from datamines or trailers and present them as official.

Growth

Kin gain experience when you defeat enemies with them beside you. Levels raise their health and attack power, and the guide says some gain new attacks at certain levels. A regional feature called small Kin summoning circles can appear in a phase and yield a large amount of experience for the Kin you have partnered with.

Still unknown

Official names for all eight Kin in the test, which Kin belong to which circle, and whether the retail game keeps the same eight. Numeric growth curves are also unpublished.
