The Duskbloods Network Test: Results, Schedule and What Happened
The published US network test ran five sessions from August 21 to August 23, 2026. Applications are closed. The first session was shut down early because of game-server problems. There is no public signup left, and FromSoftware said later schedules would be announced separately.

The network test used a pre-release build to load game servers, watch how eight-player matches behave across different connections, and gather balance data. It was not the finished game, and the official page warned that bugs could occur.
Confirmed facts
- Applications for the US test ran from July 22, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. PDT to July 28 at 6:59 a.m. PDT. Repeated applications by the same user were rejected, and players were selected in sign-up order.
- Selection results were announced August 7 at 6:00 a.m. PDT through the account page.
- Game data and download codes were scheduled for August 18 at 6:00 a.m. PDT. Selected players could download from Nintendo Store or the Nintendo eShop.
- You needed a Nintendo Switch 2 and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, sold separately.
- Matches were limited to eight players.
- Official US session times in PDT:
- Aug 21, 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Aug 21, 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Aug 22, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Aug 23, 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Aug 23, 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- The official page warned that sessions could change or be canceled without notice.
Nintendo’s US product page described the Global Network Test as taking place from August 21 to 24. The test site itself listed five sessions ending late on August 23. This archive treats the five PDT sessions as the operational schedule.
What happened in the first session
Testers reported being stuck on the title screen and unable to enter matches. Eurogamer reported that FromSoftware then closed the first session early, apologized for game-server issues, and said it would announce future schedules later. That is a newsroom reporting an official statement, not a new Nintendo support article.

What players can do now
- Do not expect a leftover public download code. Selection already happened, and the download code was tied to the account that applied.
- Game problems belong on official Nintendo or FromSoftware channels, not on this unofficial archive.
- Treat test-build rules as test-build only until the release version repeats them.
- Watch official channels for any extra test. Store placeholder dates are not test dates.
Still unknown
Whether a makeup session will be offered to people locked out of the first window, whether anything from the test carries into the retail game, and the next public playable date.
